"The Lord has put away your sin; you shall not die. "(Reading I: 2 Sam 12: 7-10.13)

12: 7 Then David took the wife of Uriah, the prophet Nathan said to him, "Thus saith the Lord of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. 12: 8 I gave your master's house, and thy master's wives into your arms. I gave you the house of Israel and Judah; and if that was not enough, of this and that kutambah again. 12: 9 How dare you insult God by doing what is evil in his sight? Uriah the Hittite, you let down with the sword, you took his wife to be your wife, and you let him alone killed by the sword of the Ammonites. 12:10 So now the sword will never step aside and your descendants forever, because you have despised me by taking the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife. "
12:13 David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the Lord!" And Nathan said to David, "The Lord has put away your sin; you shall not die. "

* Thou art my hiding place, O Lord! You keep watch over crowding. You protect me with songs of deliverance.
* Rejoice in the Lord! (The believers!) Sing, ye righteous; shout, O people honest.
Reading II: Galatians 2: 16.19-21
"I live, but no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me."
2:16 Brethren, you know, nobody is allowed by the law, but only through faith in Christ Jesus. That's why we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law. Because "no one is justified" by the law.
2:19 For through the law I died to the law, that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ. 2:20 Nevertheless, I live, yet not I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And life kuhayati now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for aku.2: 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God. Because if righteousness is by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Gospel reading: Luke 7: 36-8: 3
"Her sins, which are many are forgiven, for she loved much."
7:36 Son of the Pharisees invited Jesus to eat with him. Jesus came into the Pharisee's house and sat down to eat. 7:37 And there was a woman known as a sinner. When he heard that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume. 7:38 As she wept, she stood behind him at his feet, she began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. Then he kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. 7:39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If he is a prophet, and he should know, who and what the woman is who is touching him: He should know that she is a sinner. "7:40 and Jesus said to the Pharisee," Simon, I have something to say to you. "he replied," say it, Teacher! "7:41" there were two men who owed money to a release. The one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 7:42 When they could not pay, he forgave them both abolished. Now which of them will love him more? "7:43 Simon answered," I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled. "Jesus said to him," You have judged rightly. "7:44 And he turned to the woman, he said, to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I entered your house, yet you gave me no water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 7:45 You gave me no kiss, but from the time I entered she has not stopped kissing my feet. 7:46 You did not anoint my head with oil, but she anointed my feet with ointment. 7:47 Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. "7:48 Then Jesus said to her," Your sins are forgiven. "7:49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves:" Who is this , who even forgives sins? "7:50 He said to the woman," your faith has saved you; go in peace! "8: 1 Soon afterward he went around from city to city and from village to village preaching the gospel the kingdom of God. The twelve disciples together with him, 8: 2 and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven devils, 8: 3 and Joanna the wife Herod's steward Chuza, Susanna, and many others. These women were helping to serve their wealth.
reflection:
News of Nathan.
Nathan made the story (not actual occurrence) concerning the treatment of a poor man rich. The aim is to disturb the conscience and sense of justice in David so after that he is aware of his sin against Uriah and his wife. The parable was very sharp. He considered that the rich man is evil and must be punished severely. With this story of David Nathan realize his sin.
Nathan harsh criticism rips David sinful hearts. That is, the word of God direct puncture of the heart darkened sin.
News from God. News of God to David with conviction. Although David was anointed and beloved of God, but God must be fair. The guilty must be held accountable and punished his mistakes. God's verdict is: David and his family will die by the sword, even he would be humiliated in front of the crowd. David confessed his sin. The love of God to those who repent much greater than the punishment. This proves that our God is righteous in His love.
Meditation: Love God forgives and join us faithfully so that we can be faithful to nature and truth.
Psalms, Happy because forgiven
What kind of feelings that keep the sin within him? Maybe he will feel guilty, or think themselves hypocrites. It can also feel fear if his sin known to others. But certainly, there is no child of God who hold long save sin.
The psalmist had experienced an unusual feeling depressed when he keeps sin in itself. Consequently it is such people who lost their zest for life. Only then open themselves before God and confess our sins, the psalmist experience relief (paragraph 5).
This Psalm is unique. At the same time there is a confession, but at the same time happy statement. Psalms "happy" (ex. Ps. 1, 106, 112, 119, 128) generally base their happiness on trust or obey the word of God. But this psalm is said that true happiness is a gift of God who forgives. Therefore, the psalmist counseled his readers to always maintain their relationship with God intimately in prayer (paragraph 6) and in obedience to His Word (verses 8-9. By maintaining communications in the Lord, we will experience His presence continuous (paragraph 7.11). with the realization that God's presence constantly surrounds us, we will be protected from the influence of the wickedness of the world just wrath of God and His judgment.
The psalmist writes this psalm as a prayer of confession and statements happy for God's forgiveness. For those of us who unknowingly violate the word of God, hold on the throne of His grace. Bow down and beg his forgiveness. Mind to yourself closer to Him in intimate communion through prayer and His Word. Experience once again the participation of God's wonderful, amazing his presence, and his mighty power, to guide our lives and witness the glory of His grace.
The second reading, a new invention.
A person who is born again by the Holy Spirit should undergo a radical change into a new creation (2 Cor 5:17). However, these changes do not always grow because the Devil trying to prevent by utilizing the attraction of this world.
No one was allowed by God by the law. Justification we experience is not what we have done, but faith in what Christ has done (Gal 2:16). On the one hand, faith in Christ makes our status justified before God. On the other hand, faith in Christ makes us have a new life. However, a new life that does not automatically grow in us for a long life has not been eliminated from our lives.
A new life and a long life competing for power within us. If we are not careful, our lives can be powered by a long life. We must rely on the power of the Holy Spirit so that new life can be powerful in our lives (2:20).
When a new life, the life in Christ, in power in our lives, our lives will be changed and we will show the life of the Christian character generated by the work of the Holy Spirit within us. Christian character is so different from the character of the world, that our presence there may not affect those around us. When we consider the life of the early church in Acts 2: 41-47, the life of the early church was favored by outsiders (2:47), but also respected (2:43). Does your life have influenced your neighborhood?

"If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come." (2 Cor 5:17)
Gospel today, total recovery for forgiveness.
Through the events in this story we see an example of how difficult it is to accept the presence of people who have a bad reputation among them. A woman who worked as a general known prostitute was considered sinful and not worthy of being in the middle of the Pharisees. Even the Pharisees wanted Jesus had the same view. Jesus responds contrary to the sinful woman who approached him and anoint His feet with expensive perfume and wiped them with her hair. He saw that the attitude and sincerity of heart, radiating love for God and a desire to leave his sins, repent of her old life.
It is difficult for people who are labeled bad standing as former prisoners, prostitutes, etc., In order to improve or change their image in society. This fact is not always caused by the absence of the person's willingness to change, but due to public attitudes that are difficult to change the existing view. Jesus changed the way like this. When people think of the sinners are people who do not deserve to be in society, in contrast to Jesus. It always provides a place for people who want to change, leave their sins and improve. Thus sinners who want to change is a high priority in the eyes of Jesus. Thus Jesus raised the dignity of the woman.
Jesus' attitude toward people who want to receive forgiveness for their sins with an open heart, we also should be the attitude in accepting and serving others. Many churches have abandoned his past and learn to live as a good Catholic Christians. They want to be accepted, served, lifted the dignity and honor of the Church (all the people), and want to start a new life, how to respond to the Church? On this occasion the Church realize the teachings of the Word of God that always sounded. Consequently the Church must determine a positive attitude toward them. And realize the needs of the church through programs Diakonia, Koinonia, and Marturia.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, later on when I want to judge others, let me remember who exactly is being tested - the person or myself - and who is he, the judge is right, fast and omniscient, and only He is worthy to judge. Lord Jesus, have mercy on me a sinner!
