Satan had imparted to man that gossiping is something not disadvantage or harm; but if we analyze more deeply about the lies that Satan offers us on this point, then we will find a bad facts about gossiping and talking nonsense. In the Bible, God calls gossip as one of the most depraved sin.
"And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to thoughts of the damned, so that they do what ought not filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife , deceit, hostility. They are slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, disloyal, not caring, not mercy. "Romans 1: 28-31
We must realize that gossip is something very dangerous and harmful. Whether we deliberately say something bad about someone else or just convey our thoughts are not necessarily true, we can embarrass the individual concerned, or even hurt his feelings.
There is someone trying to trace back the source of gossip and slanted news about her. He asked each person the following question, "Where did you hear the news?" After he spoke with seventeen God, he finally found the source of personal or gossip about the slanted news about him. The rumor-mongers admit that he speak only based on speculation about a problem that does not really know it. Note that, a destructive chain reaction starts only from someone who conclude something wrong when talking with others.
Although the victim did not know about all the conversations going on behind the slanted news about him, rumors continue to have consequences. We have no right to bring such devastation to the lives of others. We must realize that only God, the only One place we turn when we hear a rumor or news about someone other oblique. Those who are experiencing hard times and trials in life, more in need of prayers and our love of talk-talk and gossip about the struggles and misfortunes they experienced.

So, starting today, let us learn to be prudent with every speech and words out of our mouths.
