Devotional Today - Holy Being In Whole Life. Shalom sisters loved by the Lord Jesus Christ. Vigil of our time is; Be Holy in Whole Life.

Colossians 3: 5 So turn off in you everything earthly: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is the same as idolatry,From this truth we understand that; A holy life is our responsibility as believers. This means that we should not live out holiness.Therefore, we must act took the decision to live a holy life. And the actions we must do to live a holy life is, death the deeds of the body, such as the word of God says in;Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh
you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.We not only have to death the deeds of the body, but we also have to shut down everything duniawai, as the word of God says in (Colossians 3: 5) have we read above.Now let's see, what is the purpose of the statement "turn off"?. KJV uses the term "Mortify" which means to cut off the power. And the fullest sense is, turn off the power and vitality of the sin, when the sin "reign" in us.The problem is, this business can not be done by force ourselves. That is to turn off all the deeds of the body and everything worldly then we need a helper.A Christian leader named John Owen said that "Turning off the deeds of the body have to do with pompinan Holy Spirit." According to him, without the Holy Spirit all the tools and how is pointless.The Holy Spirit is the most efficient. He is the only one who gives us the passion and strength, to death the deeds of the body.Let's see what the Word of God says to us, as it is written in;I Peter 1:15 but you shall be holy in all your conduct, just as He is holy, who has called you, 1:16 for it is written: You shall be holy, for I am holy.This means we must realize that we are called to be holy in all our life movement. The truth would make us more understanding, that we should be holy in all of life. Hallelujah, God bless us all. Amen.
